"Cry out and shout!" is a book of choral music containing a representative selection of Knut Nystedt's best compositions for mixed choir to Latin, English and German Texts.#-#In the introductory biography, 22 selected choral works are discussed in chronological order, so that it is possible to follow Nystedt's stylistic development from 1939 to 2002. In the discussion of the works themselves, choral conductors and others who are interested will find information on the background to the compositions, what Nystedt was thinking when he composed them, and how he wished the music to be performed.#-#In the last section of the book there is an overview of all his choral compositions as an inspiration to conductors and choirs.
