The Firebird is a three-movement work for treble choir created to celebrate growth and transformation. It traces the journey of the Firebird from its quiet longing for freedom to its eventual triumphant flight. The three movements can be performed as a set or independently, and can be accompanied by the inclued piano and percussion or by the addition of string quartet or orchestra (both available from the composer).
